I was born and raised in San Diego. I enjoy basketball, food and all things spooky. Training people and helping develop the necessary skills in order to be successful has been my specialty for over a decade. I believe there is always more than one way to teach so adaptability to different personalities and learning styles is important to me. Being detailed, patient and able to create a stress free environment is key to teaching anyone something for the very first time. These are my goals during your lessons.

Born and raised in sunny San Diego, I have had the pleasure of growing up with beautiful beaches, magnificent mountains, and Devine deserts. I dabbled in teaching elementary students but ultimately decided that teaching outside of a classroom is where I would thrive. Some might call it “love at first drive” but I really found my stride in instructing. I find it easy to be kind and patient while maintaining clear and concise communication. As a self proclaimed awesome driver I feel confident teaching people of any age how to navigate this new skill.

With years of experience working in the school district, I have now transitioned to being a dedicated instructor at Poway Driving School. My approach to teaching focuses on refining the small details that have a significant impact on driving. By addressing these nuances, I strive to make a substantial difference in your driving abilities. My priority is to alleviate any worries, nervousness, or discomfort you may have when it comes to driving. I am committed to creating a supportive and relaxed environment where you can flourish and become the best driver you can be. Through personalized instruction, I aim to instill confidence and equip you with the necessary skills to navigate the roads with ease. In my free time, I love to play basketball and go to the gym. I also have a passion for film and photography.

I was born and raised in SoCal, and have always had a passion for cars and driving. After spending time driving for both Amazon and FedEx, I realized that I would thrive in an environment where I could share that knowledge. 

I’ve now been teaching for quite some time, and can confidently say this is the most rewarding work I’ve been a part of. I believe in always trying to adapt the lessons to best suit the individual students so they can grow their driving skills to not only pass the exam, but be great drivers in the future.

Originating from a small farm town in central California, I've cultivated a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for the journey of acquiring new skills. Relocating to vibrant San Diego has only amplified my enthusiasm, and I bring that same energy to every lesson.

With a vast amount of experience working in various safety advocate positions which includes but not limited to over 26 years in the driving industry and at Fedex training drivers on the fundamentals of collision avoidance, I am happy to pass on my personal knowledge to all the students that I get the opportunity to work with. As a family man of 4 kids I know the importance of teaching and learning the best driving habits that make our community safe. My personal goal is to teach the best driving best practices that will in turn help build confidence and make driving fun and easy to learn. I am very calm and personable and take personal pride ensuring everyone has the best learning experience possible. I understand how it can be nerve racking for anyone who fears the fast pace life style San Diego County offers. I hold a Bachelors degree in Communications and am also fluent in Spanish. I look forward to working and meeting everyone that I have the opportunity to work with.

Being born and raised in seaside sunny San Diego, I know the feeling of freedom one feels while being out on the open road. When I first started my journey behind the wheel I was both nervous and excited all at the same time, but my nerves were quickly wiped away once I got onto the road and got that first taste of true freedom. I’ve since made it my goal to help teens and young adults alike reach that feeling and being safe while doing so. I pride myself on teaching to make sure every student is comfortable and confident, while understanding and abiding by the rules of the road. I wish to make driving a fun and rewarding experience, while still giving strong words of encouragement. By using heavy amounts of patience, passion, and understanding, going at everyone’s desired pace to ensure they are road ready. Im thrilled to go to work everyday and I’m confident I can help create the new drivers of tomorrow today.

My name is Grace and I am the office manager here at Poway Driving School! I was born and raised here in San Diego and recently graduated from SDSU with a Bachelors in Marketing. During my free time I enjoy being active whether its going for a hike, the gym, or training in muay thai. I also have a passion for playing piano.  I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and finding solutions to their needs.
